RESPONSIBILITIES
Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs:
- Perform advanced diagnostics using state-of-the-art tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine and transmission overhauls, suspension repairs, brake system repairs, electrical system repairs, and other complex automotive services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle issues efficiently and effectively.
Maintenance and Servicing:
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Complete thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and advise customers on necessary repairs or maintenance.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
- Assist leadership with work assignments to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to solve complex technical problems and optimize overall garage performance.
Customer Service:
- Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repair recommendations, providing accurate cost estimates, and follow-up appointments as needed.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by delivering high-quality repairs, maintaining open lines of communication, and resolving customer complaints effectively.
Equipment, Yard, and Tool Maintenance:
- Assists with maintaining and calibrating vehicles, tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices to ensure accurate readings and efficient operation.
- Keep the workshop clean and organized, ensuring a safe working environment and proper storage of tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Vocational or technical training in automotive technology.
- In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, suspension, brake, electrical, and electronic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and computerized systems for vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
