RESPONSIBILITIES

Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs:

  • Perform advanced diagnostics using state-of-the-art tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle issues.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine and transmission overhauls, suspension repairs, brake system repairs, electrical system repairs, and other complex automotive services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle issues efficiently and effectively.

Maintenance and Servicing:

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
  • Complete thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential issues and advise customers on necessary repairs or maintenance.

Teamwork and Collaboration:

  • Assist leadership with work assignments to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with other team members to solve complex technical problems and optimize overall garage performance.

Customer Service:

  • Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their concerns, explaining repair recommendations, providing accurate cost estimates, and follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by delivering high-quality repairs, maintaining open lines of communication, and resolving customer complaints effectively.

Equipment, Yard, and Tool Maintenance:

  • Assists with maintaining and calibrating vehicles, tools, equipment, and diagnostic devices to ensure accurate readings and efficient operation.
  • Keep the workshop clean and organized, ensuring a safe working environment and proper storage of tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational or technical training in automotive technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, suspension, brake, electrical, and electronic systems.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and computerized systems for vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
